Launched in September 2013, it is a social enterprise that has a proven track record in delivering high quality social care assessments and in supporting people in the local community with a social care need to remain independent for as long as possible.

We have two vacancies on our Board of Governors for representatives from our Service Users and Carers – no experience necessary, we will support you to undertake this role.
Represent our service user or carer community at the board, bringing your unique perspective to the discussions and decision making.
Attend Board meetings routinely held every three months on the last Thursday 3pm to 6pm
Read any papers that are sent ahead of the Board meeting and be prepared to discuss and debate any of the content
Participate in discussion and decision making

You will be required to sign up as a Director and will appear on the register at Companies House
You will not be employed by focus CIC
Reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred whilst undertaking the duties of Governor will be reimbursed
