Social Work Week 2026: Pulling together for hope and harmony This Social Work Week, we’re celebrating the compassion, skill and dedication of everyone working across social care.

The international theme, Co‑Building Hope and Harmony (Harambee) captures what adult social care does best: pulling together with people, families and communities to build independence, connection and a life they value.

At Focus we have taken time to come together, reflect on our practice, and recognise the impact we have with the people we support and our local community.

It was a welcome pause, and a proud moment to acknowledge why we choose to work in social care, for Focus, and with each other, every day.
